Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Offshore Paramedic to join our team and provide exceptional medical care to personnel working in the offshore oil and gas industry. This is a demanding role that requires experience in emergency medical services, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a challenging and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

- Provide emergency medical care and treatment to offshore personnel in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
- Conduct medical assessments, including triage, diagnosis, and treatment of injuries and illnesses.
- Administer medications and perform medical procedures as required.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Participate in emergency response drills and training exercises to enhance preparedness and response capabilities.
- Monitor and maintain medical supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and functionality at all times.
- Promote a culture of safety and wellness by providing health education and preventive care to offshore personnel.
- Adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards to ensure compliance and quality of care.
- Foster positive working relationships with offshore crew members, promoting a supportive and compassionate healthcare environment.


Qualifications:

- Valid Paramedic certification/license.
- Minimum [2] years of experience as a Paramedic, preferably in an offshore or remote setting.
- Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) certifications.
- Proficient in emergency medical procedures and protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Physically fit and capable of performing in demanding offshore conditions.
- Familiarity with offshore safety regulations and industry best practices (e.g., OPITO standards) is a plus.
- Prior experience with remote telemedicine or telehealth services is desirable.
