Job Location: Brunei
International SOS is recruiting for an experienced Offshore Doctor to work in an established health center supporting our major Oil & Gas client based in Brunei.
The position is based on a rotation of 4weeks on duty followed by 4weeks off duty.
Flights, accommodation, coupled with all the necessary remote site insurances are provided.
Payment will be in USdollars and will apply to on duty days only.
A daily meal allowance will apply.
Start date is imminent.

The Offshore Doctor is the sole provider of primary and emergency health care services to an offshore workforce and oversees all aspects of clinical medical management within the clinic, inlcuding medical evacuation support. In addition, is responsible to position International SOS as the principal health care provider in the offshore community. Core activities are Medical Emergency Preparedness and Response, Medical care, Management of Offshore Clinic and Site Inspection.

Undertake clinical consultations and provide a high standard of service and care to patients attending the clinic
Treat all clinical presentations to the minimal effective level of care in an effort to reduce client lost time exposure without compromising patient wellbeing or recovery times
Develop and ensure continuity of patient care and appropriate follow-up and referral
Assist with the implementation of preventative medical care strategies, including structuring and performing medical screening services if required
Manage the delivery of competent and professional health services according to the International SOS standards
Assist with ensuring appropriate patient triage and flow within the clinic
Provide 12 hour non emergency medical response and services to employees on site, with the remaining 12 hours on call for emergency response
Co-ordinate with the Client, International SOS Assistance Centre and Co-ordinating Doctors the procedures required and preparation of patients to facilitate evacuation if required
Criteria to apply:

Must be current and medically registered in country of origin or residence
Minimum 5 years' experience in emergency care/ICU/Operation Theatre
Have previous remote site experience
Have a minimum of 5years+ offshore experience
Hold a valid ACLS (AHA)
Hold a valid ITLS or PHTLS or ATLS
Hold a valid offshore qualification such as BOSIET or FOET (must be Opito approved)
Excellent English, both oral and written is essential
Must hold a valid passport.
Minimum 5 years' experience in emergency care/ICU/Operation Theatre
