The overall purpose of this role
The Flight Nurse is responsible for maintaining the Air Ambulance medical base, all medical transport equipment, procurement and stock control of medical consumables as per the Air Rescue requirements. The position is based in Port Moresby
Act as Nurse medical crew on air ambulance missions as required and to act as medical escort on behalf of organization as and when required and perform according to medical protocols and standards.

Required Experience
Nursing management and procurement experience
Experience in Quality Assurance and Clinical Governance practices
ICU/TRAUMA/EMS experience & current clinical exposure essential
Inventory Management
Trauma/ICU nursing experience
Fixed-wing Air Ambulance nursing experience
Excellent Written and spoken English is an explicit requirement of this role
Valid Nurse Registration in country of qualification
Valid Passport
Fitness to fly Certificate and health declaration
This is a permanent rotational position based in Port Moresby working three months on / three months off.
