Job Description /Responsibilities
Non-Tactical Physicians Assistants (PA) / Nurse Practitioners (NP)
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with military medical experience. This is an OCONUS position and will reportdirectly to the Program Manager based out of Northern Virginia (NOVA). This position will require the candidate to commit to scheduled rotational deployments to high threat / austere environments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Personal Requirements:
· Must be a U.S. Citizen.
· At least 21 years of age.
· Possesses an active USG Top Secret (TS) clearance.
· Five or more (5+) years in Emergency medicine or relevant Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner experience.
· Experience providing independent medical care in high threat/ austere areas with or without Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC) capabilities.
· Experience as a State Licensed Physician Assistant (PA) / Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) specializing in family/adult medicine with Medical Team Leader, Emergency and trauma experience preferred
· Able to pass National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) query with NO medical malpractice claims/derogatory filings, adverse licensure actions or loss of license, clinical privileging actions, professional society membership actions, negative action or finding by a State licensing or certification authority, private accreditation organization negative actions or findings against a health care practitioner or entity, negative action or finding by a Federal or State licensing and certification agency, civil judgments or criminal convictions that are health care-related, exclusions from Federal or State health care programs or other adjudicated actions or decisions.

U.S. Military or Federal Agency within the past 8 years providing medical services as either a Special Forces Medical Sergeant (18D), Ranger Medic (68W), Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsman or Air Force Combat Medic (Pararescue — PJ) or comparable.
· Preferred Past Deployments: 1st – 20th Special Forces Group(s), 75th Ranger Regiment, 1 – 18 USN Sea, Air, and Land (SEAL) Teams or U.S. Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) 1st - 3rd Marine Raider Battalions or comparable.
· Preferred or Desired: Combat Deployment within the past 5 years.
· Preferred or Desired Skills: Graduate of Special Forces Combat Diving Medical Technician Course (CDMTC) / Flight Paramedic Course (Civilian: FP-C Exam / Military: ASI F2 and/or F3).
