Scenic Luxury Cruises and Emerald Cruises are searching for a Nurse to join our Fleet.
Summary
The Nurse is responsible to the Staff Captain for delivery of immediately necessary and emergency medical care to crew and passengers.
The Nurse is responsible to the Doctor for the delivery of clinical care to crew and passengers. The Nurse is supported clinically by the Doctor.
The Nurse is required to perform at a skilled level and must seek support, guidance and ratification of clinical decisions as required by own competence and limitations, and by top side provider Medical Standing Orders.
Must be able to work independently and make decisions within own legislative framework. Clinical decisions are to be robustly supported by current clinical evidence and practice.
Desired Qualifications:
University Degree in Nursing with a full license to practice
Current ACLS, ALS or equivalent certification or specialist training
Current ITLS, ATLS, PHTLS or equivalent certification
Current PALS or equivalent certification
STCW - 4 part, Crowd Management
ENG1 / equivalent seafarers medical
Rotation: 4 months on / 2 months off
