Job Location: South Iraq
We are recruiting UK/SA Passport holder PSD DTL/Tier 2 Medic for a contract in Southern Iraq.
The Minimum Qualifications and Experience as stipulated by the client are:
1. Minimum of 5 years’ service in Military /Law Enforcement / Armed Hostile Environment or combination.
2. Satisfactory completion of a formal internationally recognized Close Protection training course conducted by an SIA-approved training organization.
3. Minimum 3 months experience in an armed PSD role in a Private Security Company in Iraq managing Local Nationals.
4. Minimum of 2 years’ current experience working as a Medic (Combat Medical Technician 1/Ambulance Technician) or in active ambulance care or medical emergency room.
5. In date ALS or ACLS (in date BLS required to be provided with ACLS) – must have completed both cognitive and skills evaluations.
6. In date PHTLS or ITLS (A) cert.
7. One of the following:
a. Paramedic:
(1) HPCSA/HCPC registered
(2) University Degree
b. EMT – Paramedic (not AREMT or Malta)
(1) Verification of Governing Body
(2) Validating certificates
(3) Validating clinical experience
(4) Country of origin of Health Organisation registration
c. HSE Offshore Medic
(1) Medical Experience in the military (Army/Airforce/Navy) = Army Combat Medic Level 1 (or other services/country equivalent)
(2) Doctor/Reg Nurse (with critical care background)/ODP-Paramedic.
