Job Brief
The Resort Doctor plays a very important role within the Human Resources and Welfare function of the organisation. He/she assists monitors and gives health care to all the team members. His/her main responsibility is to provide high standard of safe indiv
Supervise the technical and operational aspects of the medical centre.
Examine and provide treatment to guests and team members of the resort as and when required.
Monitor the section budgets & expenses
Provision of information and preventive health care and promotion of good health and health education awareness generation.
Training to team members in health issues including First Aid training.
Advise and guide the expatriate employees of their entitlements in terms of the Medical Scheme.
Inform the HR Manager whenever an employee needs to be referred to a government clinic
Assist in preparation of medical emergency evacuation plans along with other departments.
Responsible for preparing MIS records
Produce relevant periodic reports as and when required to include:
number of sick leave recorded
number of employees/guests seen per month
Report any health and safety hazards.
Accompany the employees to the hospital as and whenever required.
Responsible for conducting medical audit
Responsible for attending to emergency calls.
Plan supplies well in advance and liaise with HR Manager to ensure availability of medical equipments at all time.
Attend and act as a First aid Representative in all sport/welfare activities organised by the Welfare Coordinator.
Counsel and advise staff in all Medical related issues
Perform relevant duties assigned by management.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery or related qualification
Minimum 2-3 years experience as Medical Practitioner preferably in 5* resort environment.
Demonstrates energy and enthusiasm at work place.
Is courteous and helpful to colleagues and customers.
Demonstrates dedication and commitment to their role – flexible.
Be fully conversant with all health and safety and hygiene procedures.
Have excellent communication and leadership skills.
