We are looking for a dynamic and experienced HCPC Paramedic or NMC Registered Nurse to join an expanding team of pre-hospital practitioners in the role of Offshore Medic/Medical Instructor. The role will be responsible for the successful delivery of UK and overseas based medical training courses while maintaining both cost effectiveness and product quality. The role will also be required to deploy in support of UK and overseas clinical governance contracts which will include dealing with illness and injury which occurs onsite, providing 24-hour cover for emergency treatment, maintaining onsite stocks of medical equipment and provisions and contributing to occupational health and safety services when deployed.
We require a HCPC Paramedic or NMC Registered Nurse with the following qualifications and skills:
HSE Off-Shore Medic (Desirable)
Clinically competent, and willing to undertake monthly clinical CPD
Level 3 or above adult learning qualification (Essential)
Level 3 certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) (Desirable)
Competent in all Microsoft Office applications
Excellent communication skills
Recent Pre-hospital skills
Medical Training experience
Junior management experience
Strong facilitation, time management and team oriented skills
Registered with various awarding bodies, or be able to be registered in order to deliver the courses offered by the training department.
