We have two very exciting opportunities in Africa for doctors who are fluent in French as follows:
Position One
DRC - Health Services General Manager (non Clinical function) - start date 18th December 2020
Contract: Fixed Term
Rotation: 7 weeks on duty with 3 weeks off duty
Salary - Paid in US Dollars and applies to on duty and travel days only
Flights, accommodation and meals, coupled with all the necessary remote site insurances are included
Essential Functions:
•Provides general oversight of all health activities and assumes a functional and efficient organization as shared for both operations
•Develop, recommend and foster the values, culture and philosophy of the health care department for each site respectively in line with operational objectives
Note: The Site Medical Advisor will not conduct clinical examinations, treat patients or manage on-site medical emergencies.
Position Two
Mauritania - Site Medical Officer- Immediate
Contract: Permanent
Rotation: 6 weeks on duty with 6 weeks off duty
Salary - Paid in US Dollars and applies to on duty and travel days only
Flights, accommodation and meals, coupled with all the necessary remote site insurances are included
Criteria to apply:
•Fluent in French (non negotiable)
•Medical registration in country of origin
•Minimum 3 years post grad experience coupled with experience within a Clinic/Hospital ER setting
•Hold a valid ACLS
•Hold a valid ITLS or equivalent
•Previous remote site experience highly desirable
•Good procedural skills
•Good command of the English Language
•IT literate
