Job Description
Caliburn is currently seeking Specialty Nurse's to be part of an Aeromedical Evacuation Team. The Mission locations is both Djibouti and Hudaydah Yemen.


Notional Position - Pending contract award 

*Foreign National ICU Nurse
*Foreign National OR Nurse
*Foreign National Nurse Anesthesia


Job Requirements
Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Nursing is required.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Nurse, specializing in intensive care, emergency medicine, critical care or anesthesia.
Hold and Maintain a license or practicing certificate from home country. 
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advance Life Support (ACLS) and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS/ITLS). 
PHTLS or ACLS Instructor Certifications preferred. 
Must be familiar with the Global Air Ambulance Practice and Standards.
Training in Aviation Nursing required
Ability to be granted a clearance by the United Nations
Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
Must be from a United Nation Member Nation.
Must possess a Passport from UN Member Nation. 
Ability to work well with senior management and across functions to achieve business objectives
Strong organizational, analytical and written/verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills to research and resolve inquiries and respond in a timely manner
Self-starter who is action oriented and possesses a strong sense of urgency
Proficient in Microsoft applications, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint


Duties:

The primary responsibilities of the AEMT Nurse include the following:

Perform as part of the Aeromedical Team, maintain positive professional relationships with colleges, EMS and hospital personnel. 
Assist with Air or Ground medical evacuations
Provide specialized nursing care to the patient from initial contact until patient care is relinquished to the accepting medical facility. 
Maintains thorough patient care documentation.
Provide treatment under night flying conditions with medical equipment compatible with Night Vision Goggles.
Seamless cooperation with air crews and ambulance crews.
Respond to emergency cases with Ambulance staff in an ACLS pre-hospital setting. 
AMET team members will be on call for emergencies. 
Shall participate in Mass Casualty plans and training.
Attends pre-mission briefings and mission debriefings and completes necessary documentation. 
Attends aircraft safety education and briefings. 
Training for non-medical personnel in First Responder Course and use of the Emergency Trauma Bag.
 Perform other duties as assigned
