Job Description
Key responsibilities
Performs as an active member of the medical treatment team.
Provides Team Leader with support, direction and administration duties within their area of responsibilities.
Assist Team Leader in supervising clinical team and provides leadership ensuring quality guidelines are being followed.
Ensures that their medical team accurately document all patient contact and medical care.
Appropriately addresses concerns regarding the conduct and performance of clinical staff through the chain of command.
Assist team leader in providing evaluation along with evidenced based appraisal and observations of paramedics to improve patient care and clinical operations.
Qualifications
- Licensed Paramedic.
- Mandatory - PHTLS or ITLS and ACLS training and knowledge in using a Stokes Basket.
- Desirable - TCCC, PALS or EPC.
- Experience in active conflict or sudden onset disasters is an advantage/highly is desirable.
- Experience is leading a team is preferable.
