About the Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Paramedics team in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, as an Paramedic Assistant Manager.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

Delegate and supervise tasks for the paramedics so that all colleagues are working towards the smooth running of the clinic.
Ensure the spirit of Jumeirah is evident in the day to day running of the clinic through application of the Hallmarks and guiding principles.
Maintain and update Patient records database and any other computer based records systems.
Ensure that our practices are in line with Jumeirah Medical Services, by consulting regularly
with Paramedic Manager & Medical Services Manager for updates and advice.
Remain up to date with Emergency services industry, in order to ensure that our clinic is modern and that we are in line with international trends.
Ensure that contract services, i.e. DULSCO medical waste removal, are  taking place and that contracts are renewed on time.
Monthly review and collation of statistics drawn from the Patient records. Trends are communicated to the relevant departments so that preventative action can be taken.
Attend team leader meetings to ensure that the clinic is kept up to date with SBU developments.
Ensure that schedules and Rota's are drawn up and that sufficient colleagues are available to cover the resort.
Orientate new colleagues and ensure that they are licensed in a timely fashion.
Carry out any other relevant duties that the management requires.
Update and review SOP’s and SBS as procedures change to ensure that the clinic remains current. Communicate changes to colleagues in the clinic to ensure that all are informed, and practicing according to written procedures.
Ensure that training CME hours are completed and submitted.
Compile and communicate Department performance plans, to ensure that the department remains driven.
Schedule training sessions for colleagues to communicate changes to the SOP, Department Performance plan, and any procedure changes from Jumeirah Medical services.
Ensure to schedule departmental monthly meeting with Paramedic Manager
Scheduling all paramedics 1-1 meeting with paramedic manager- quarterly once
Scheduling scenarios for paramedics in regular basis with Paramedic Manger and medical service Manager
Ensure all paramedic’s, clinic and first aid training Centre license monitored and applied for renewal 1month in advance and need to follow-up the status.
Ensure that paramedics are practicing according to Jumeirah scope of practice, Jumeirah Medical policy, and their own protocols in accordance with their level of training.
Ensure that all paramedics attend Advanced Cardiac Life support training and recertification. This is to update the Advanced Life Support colleagues and create awareness amongst the Intermediate Life Support colleagues.
Ensure that paperwork (all daily check list) is completed and filed appropriately by all colleagues so that accurate records can be kept.
Ensure that operational equipment is appropriately maintained and that repairs are conducted in a timely fashion.
Monitoring all the incidents reports.
Regular update of incident mailing list.

About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

National diploma
