The fields and services we provide range from primary and emergency care, aeromedical evacuation and crisis response to medical supply chain management, procurement, and hospital management. As a registered training organization offering a
catalog of classes and skill set training to our clients in courses range from simple first aid classes and certification for large workforces, Tactical Combat Casualty Care for those working in conflict zones, and specialized clinical courses. We are accepting resumes for a potential project supporting the UN in Somalia and Mali. These positions will focus on stabilizing patients in aeromedical evacuations and clinic settings, and applicants must be comfortable working in an under-resourced austere environment with minimal backup. AMI covers visa costs, flights and accommodation.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills:

Degree in Medicine with a minimum of 3 years continuous clinical experience post qualification.
Postgraduate training in Anesthesia or Emergency Medicine or Aero Medicine with a minimum of three (3) years’ post qualification experience.
Training in Aviation Medicine (minimum 1 week)
Currently registered and licensed to practice medicine and apply specialty without supervision in own country or another UN member state.
Fluency in English is required, fluency in French is preferred but not required
Experience in providing treatment under night flying conditions and with medical equipment compatible with NVG (Night Vision Goggles)
Certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) (or equivalent) and Advanced Care Life Support ACLS
All submitted documents must be in English and/or with official translation to English
