Paramedic Team Manager/Clinical Educator , Vanuatu

Employer: ProMedical (Vanuatu Emergency Medical Services Association)
Location: Vanuatu

About the business

ProMedical is a non-government organisation incorporated locally as a charitable association. The Vanuatu Emergency Services Association VESA operates the paramedical service "ProMedical" which provides 24-hour international standard paramedical ambulance services on the islands of Efaté and Espiritu Santo.

ProMedical also has a dedicated volunteer rescue team - ProResuce which is modelled off Australian SES who provide road accident rescue as well as assistance at complex & multi-casualty cases.

ProMedical currently receives no direct funding from the Vanuatu government or any aid agencies
thus, relies on funding via sponsorship from local businesses and through subscriptions from Ni-Vanuatu, expatriate residents and businesses within the local community.  We now have around three Ni-Vanuatu subscribers for every foreign resident member.  This means that we are one of the few charities that can genuinely claim to serve the whole community.
