Status: Full-Time
Primary Function
Provide medical support or “out of hospital care” in a tactile environment. To actively support and uphold the Company’s stated vision, mission, and values.
Essential Functions
Track and maintain individual supply requirements
Assist in training activities of fellow medics and team members
Provide emergent and non-emergent medical support such as treatment of minor acute illnesses in field conditions to include, but not limited to, fluid resuscitation, hemorrhage control with hemostatic agents, airway support, and life support for patients with prolonged casualty evacuation times.
Job Requirements
Shall be fluent in English speaking, reading and writing
Must qualify semiannually with all assigned weapons (including safety functions, capabilities, limitations, and maintenance) IAW US Department of the Army Standards
Must have four (4) years Armed Force experience with honorable discharge
Must have four (4) years’ experience in Military Occupational Specialty or Armed Force Specialty Codes designated as combat medic or equivalent civilian certification
Must be citizen of a FVEY member state
Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age or older
Must be able to perform the following physical tasks:
(1) Drag, carry, lift, and/or pull a person to safety
(2) Use physical force to detain a subject or prevent unauthorized entry
(3) Prolonged standing and/or sustained patrol on foot or in a vehicle
(4) Sustained pursuit of suspect on foot
(5) Dodging, crawling, climbing, and/or rapid ascent of stairs
(6) Perform the above wearing duty equipment and/or personal protective equipment under adverse environmental conditions
Must possess valid passport
Must be able to pass a medical screening/physical approving candidate for overseas work
Must be able to meet the physical requirements dictated by project requirements, to include an Annual Physical Ability Test
Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation at a frequency as required by contract
Ability to travel to, and/or work in, an austere, hostile, or remote location.
