Aspen Medical International (AMI) is accepting CV's of U.S. Flight Paramedics with Secret Clearance. AMI provides global healthcare solutions in challenging environments, in both the commercial and contracting sectors.
This position will require the paramedic to prepare and stabilize patients during evacuation and equip the aircraft for evacuations. The paramedic must be able to configure and equip in 30 minutes or less to provide in-flight medical care.
Duties:
Evacuate patients according to global air ambulance practices and procedures
Stabilize patients during evacuation
Work on a rotary and fixed-wing aircraft
Configure and equip in 30 minutes or less to provide in-flight medical care
Ability to remove personnel entrapped inside a ground vehicle or small aircraft.
Qualifications:
NREMT-P certified
Minimum of 4 years current work experience. Work experience must be in the last 6 years.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support certified
Must be able to treat both adults and pediatric patients.
Additional Critical Care Air Transport education and experience preferable.
Military experience with Special Operations Forces is preferred but not required.
Must maintain all of the above mentioned certifications throughout the period of the contract
Experience operating a rescue hoist.
Must have Secret Clearance.
