An experienced Site Medic required for Christmas coverage on a QLD mining operation from 18 -27 Dec
Your new role
Reporting to the Health & Safety Superintendent you will be responsible for the onsite first response medical requirements for an underground metalliferous mine site. You will be an immediate point of contact for administering first aid for any injuries and illnesses onsite. You will actively be involved with incident investigations and ensure safety awareness of personnel and management aligns with Safety Management Systems AS4801. You will need to work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail. The role is for holiday coverage so you must be available between 18-27 Dec. FIFO from Townsville.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the role you will be a Registered Nurse/Paramedic or Safety Advisor ideally with a strong background in the mining sector. You will hold at minimum Advanced First Aid certification and you will have demonstrated experience as an ERT member.
