MISSION
Provide nursing care to keep or improve the person's health and escort them to contribute for prevention, tracking, and treatment.
HSE ASPECTS
Integrate and apply TEPA HSE rules;
Participate in the implementation and promotion of the Affiliate HSE rules in their area of competences.
ACTIVITIES
Ensure quality care while respecting the various treatment and hygiene protocols in the clinic premises;
Carefully assess the patient's health status and autonomy. Observe and monitor potential behavioral disorders;
Collect, analyze, and send information to the patient's care and its continuity;
Formalize the nursing diagnosis and care supplied under their initiative in their area;
Prevent and assess the patient suffering and anguish and relieve them;
Assess pain and implement therapeutic resources to relieve it as soon as possible;
Monitor hygiene and a balanced diet;
Identify emergency situations and handle them with appropriate actions;
Help patients taking non-injectable medicines, check their decision, monitor the effects and educate the patient;
Ensure the safety of the patients;
Ensure the traceability of implemented actions;
Manage and control medical products, equipments, and devices planned for hospital care;
Follow-up the adequate meals for the patients' regime;
Distribute and administer medicines, under medical prescription;
Ensure their continuous training and keep informed to improve professional knowledge and the quality of care supplied to the patients;
Help new professional accommodate and integrate in the service.
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
Clinic far from the central offices but close to reference sanitary structures;
Versatile position: hospitalization nurse, central office ambulatory nurse, nursing installations and care.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Holder of Nurse Diploma;
Experience > 5 years;
Enrollment in the Angola Nurse Association;
Accountable, able to listen, analyzing and summarizing, organizing and discipline, able to manage emergency situations and control difficult and repetitive emotional situations;
Respect other people, accept and respect the patient logics;
Good computer knowledge;
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team;
Portuguese: Speak, write; knowledge of English and French, if possible.
