Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse/Medical Review Officer to support the medical screening of Aegis candidates interested in deploying to an austere environment. The Medical Review Officer will also maintain medical records for all Aegis employees.
Essential Functions:
Assist in scheduling medical appointments through multiple vendors/clinics
Screen candidate medical documentation to determine eligibility for deployment
Assist in the design and development of procedures for the processing, evaluation, and follow-up for candidate/employee medical screening
Consistently demonstrate the ability to screen candidates in a timely manner
Advise the Aegis management team on all medical related issues
Non-Essential Functions:
Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned according to the needs of the customer/client

Job Requirements:
Crucial Requirements and Abilities:
3-5 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse or Physician’s Assistant
Certified Physician's Assistant or Medical Officer is desired
Must be results-oriented; customer-service focused and possess strong organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills

Travel: Yes, 25% of the time

Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a long period of the time
The employee is frequently required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

The employee will work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment

Proven track record of working in a fast-paced, complex, and deadline-oriented environment
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Military or Law Enforcement experience strongly preferred.
