Northern Star Resources Limited (ASX: NST) is a dynamic and rapidly growing Australian gold producer with a strong emphasis on high-grade, low-cost mines with robust margins and a production profile of ~600,000oz per annum. The Company owns and operates the following gold mines: Paulsens, Plutonic, Kanowna Belle, Kundana (51% interest in the East Kundana Joint Venture) and Jundee, together with a strong exploration focus with a significant land package covering ~10,000km2 in prospective areas of Western Australia. The Company currently has opportunities for an OHS Advisor - Nurse to join our Plutonic Gold Mine on an 8/6 roster.

The duties and responsibilities for this role include:
- Provide critical and non-critical assistance and medical care to site personnel.
- Assist in managing the site's emergency preparedness.
- Managing site emergency medical facilities and assets.
- Assist with developing and maintaining site audit functions.
- Conduct regular biological monitoring to comply with legislative requirements.
- Coordinate site injury management and return to work functions.
- Mentor members of Emergency Response in the acquisition of basic clinical skills.
- Bachelor of Nursing (Registered Nurse) or equivalent// Paramedic
- 3 years demonstrated experience in emergency treatment (clinical or non-clinical).
- Experience and/or qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or Hygiene (desired).
- Current "C" Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
- Sound Knowledge in Injury Management.
- Cert IV Training & Assessment (Desired)
- Sound knowledge of the Mines Safety & Inspection Act and Regulations
- Sound knowledge of the Workers Compensation Act and Regulations
- Computer literate in Excel, Word, Powerpoint and INX (InControl) software
