Emergency Medical Technician - Intermediate (EMT-I) - Iraq

Location: Baghdad Iraq

SOC is recruiting for a Emergency Medical Technician-Intermediate (EMT-I)
Must have an active EMT Intermediate or above ceritifcation (EMT-B will not qualify)
Prior WPS experience preferred

• Medic support to contractor personnel.
• The EMT-I is designated as Support (S).
• The EMT-I is required to maintain weapons qualification, as outlined in this contract, with the Glock and M4.

Must meet all of the below qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Three (3) years of experience:
• MUST possess a State or National Registry certification of an EMT-Intermediate/85, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT), or Paramedic license, (written and practical examinations) trained and certified to current, U.S. - recognized standards.
• Experience working as an EMT, with a majority of the experience being within an emergency room and/or in direct support of military operations. Have experience/knowledge in current TCCC guidelines.
• Must have valid, current U.S. driver’s license and U.S. tourist passport.
• Submission of current approved CPR credentials for Professional Rescuer/Health CareProviders.
• Registration Certification must be valid for the period of deployment.
• Must have a personal and, if appropriate, military discharge under honorable conditions.
• Must be able to pass an in-depth medical screening in order to meet the requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Personnel Security clearance.
• Must be able to pass an in-depth background check.
