Paramedic 3 month Contract 40 hours per week Monday to Friday

The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity to become part of an innovative and new initiative with Sydney Trains. Since June 2014 the presence of Paramedics at 15 busy stations has decreased train delays by over 30% and has saved commuters an amazing 61 hours in delays across the entire network.
Between August and December 2013, there were 144 incidents involving a sick passenger on a train - delaying services by a total of 132 hours. Since the introduction of paramedics on stations, the number of
delays caused by sick or injured customers decreased to 99 over the same period in 2014
Safety Australia Group's Paramedics are now based at Townhall, Redfern, Bondi, Hornsby, Epping, Wolli Creek, Bankstown & Glenfield stations.

The Role
This is an autonomous role that offers 40 hours a week working Monday - Friday 6am-10am & 3pm-7pm. Your role while on the stations is to provide the highest quality Healthcare assistance to all customer. You will be required to do summaries and incident reporting on a daily basis as well as well as identify injury patterns, first aid kit audits & other duties as required.
The ideal candidate will be customer focused and will have a strong Paramedic background, If you are a great problem solver with an ability to self-manage and be a quick thinker under stress, then we encourage you to apply.

The Ideal Person Will Possess
2+ years Accident & Emergency experience
Minimum Diploma in Paramedical Science
Current Police / Working with Children's check (or willingness to obtain)
Current Advanced Life Support Qualification (desirable)
Strong Customer Services & Communication skills
