Role Overview
The Air Rescue Service & Training Manager, International SOS rescue service is responsible for all aspects of the operations of the air ambulance, including quality management, fostering, training of staff in air operations, maintaining all Medical transport equipment, procurement and stock control of medical consumables. In addition, the manager will undertake missions as required and when appropriate. This
position is also responsible for the overall management of the training division including but not limited to planning , scheduling, quality management, procurement and the daily running of the training department.

Requirements
Education
Paramedic Qualification and /or Registered Nurse in Intensive Care, Air
Retrieval and Rescue Operations and/or Registered Nurse

Experience
Extensive air operations management experience
Extensive clinical experience in intensive care air ambulance and rotary
wing operations
Experience in teaching, education
Experience in research in air operations
Experience and understanding of quality management principles

Skills / Knowledge
Computer Literate - Microsoft Outlook; Word; Excel; Access
Infection Management Advantages
Attention to Detail
Cultural sensitivity
Understanding of the unique environment and challenges of papua New
Guinea
Ability to work as part of a team

Languages
Excellent written and spoken English
