The Vacancy:
Following a year of exponential growth they are now looking for a Senior Medical Instructor. Your primary objective will be to teach on high calibre Hostile Environment training courses.
Your main duties will be to:
Prepare and deliver weekly residential medical courses to high calibre individuals who are due to visit hostile environments.
Visit clients (such as embassies) abroad including the USA + the Middle East: delivering similar training courses
Requirements:
We are recruiting for an experienced and confident medical trainer who has extensive knowledge of delivering medical training for hostile environments.
You will already have experience of delivering such courses to the private/military sector and come from an army medic or paramedic background.
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
Teaching qualifications such as PTTLS- BTEC level 3, CTTLS BETEC level 3.
Excellent interpersonal skills required
Full driving license (preferably with minibus as transporting delegates around the training facilities will be required)
Passport with no travel restrictions
Residing within a commutable distance of Surrey (or a relocation plan)
Able to provide a full five year checkable employment/unemployment history
Army medic- Combat experience including tours of Iraq and Afghanistan as army medic preferred
Experience of working in the private security sector preferred.
Experience of working with the media preferred
Flexibility to be on site at 0730 when required
Due to the nature of the role the candidate needs to be physically fit
Remuneration:
For successful candidates a competitive basic salary in the region of £40 000 is on offer and will be reviewed on a case by case basis dependant on your experience.
