Description of role
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to be a member of the Perenco UK QSHE team. Alongside the medical aspect of this role you will also have the proven ability to deliver a high level of safety support and coaching to management & personnel alike to ensure regulatory and legislative compliance with regards to Quality, Health, Safety & Environment.
You will be based offshore on one of our gas production assets in the Southern North Sea (South) working an equal time rota (14/14) - reporting directly to the Operational Safety department onshore. The successful applicant shall also be required to work closely with the Installation Management team where he or she may be based. Offshore experience is essential along with knowledge and familiarity of gas process operations, project activities and construction / de-commissioning works.
Key accountabilities shall include but not be limited to:
• Management of the installation sick bay along with medic care & treatment of personnel
• Occupational Health Management & Compliance
• Potable Water Management
• Radiation Protection Supervisor
• Asbestos Management
• Noise & HAVs Management
• COSHH Assessor
• Risk Assessment Team Lead skills
• Auditing skills
• Incident Investigation skills
Qualifications Required:
• NEBOSH Qualified (Certificate or Diploma)
• Offshore Medic Qualified (UK HSE Approved etc)
• Offshore Survival to OGUK Standard
• Offshore Medical Certification to OGUK Standard
(Offshore North Sea Experience essential & familiarity with NUI operations would advantageous)
