Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Provides supervision for the medical clinic
Provides 24 hour quality medical care for injured, sick and trama cases
Provides support for emergency medevac
Provides follow up care with patients and patient referrals
Oversees the Malaria Control Program; distributes malarial medications and malaria curative kits
Provides CPR/AED, first aid, blood borne pathogens and hygiene training
Maintains and inspect AED devices and first aid kits
Maintains all medevac plans
Performs medical monitoring for respiratory protection
Maintains medical clinic supplies and ambulance supplies
Performs hygiene inspections of all onshore facilities and kitchens
Monitors the food handling process
Serves as a first responder for medical or injury related emergencies
Provides reports on EHS, medical and hygiene activities
Liaises with the local hospital, iSOS medical facility and any client operated offshore facilities
Maintains contracts with local clinics and hospitals
Maintains the company ambulance
Serves as a primary source for communication medical matters to the Management
Working Conditions:
Work may involve moderate physical activity and exposure to weather conditions
Rotate on a 28/28 day rotation
On-call 24 hours
Some travel to various field locations
