Team Paramedic for Afghanistan URGENT!!!! URGENT!!! URGENT!!!!







A) The team paramedic shall be qualified on a 2 year course at the School of Nursing and have a further two years of work experience in a surgical hospital or equivalent.
B) The team paramedic is responsible for the establishment of a First Aid point at the clearance site before daily operations start and shall only close after operations have ceased for the day. Must meet the requirements for IMAS for; medical screening, physical abilities, and analytical capacity.

TCN Paramedic capable of providing first responder care in the event of a mine action incident in support of mine action personnel performing manual demining and BAC of soil and debris contaminated with landmines, UXO and other explosives hazards. Will ensure all medical and first aid equipment are inspected daily before work and at the end of the day. Will ensure all ambulances and first responder systems are serviceable. Reports directly to the US Expat Operations Manager.

NOTE PERSONNEL WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK 10 HOURS PER DAY PERFORMING JOB ACTIVITIES INCLUSIVE OF TRAVEL, LUNCH AND BREAKS.

Remote Search & Rescue Paramedic , DRC

The RSR Paramedic is member of the RSR team providing rescue services in remote locations in order to minimize the loss of life and United Nations Property. The candidate will be required to perform advanced life support treatment to casualties in remote areas and extraction of casualties, and body recovery on land or water. The Paramedic will be required to administer pharmaceutical drugs independently, inclusive of narcotic drugs. Perform triage during emergencies. Inspect and ensure that all medical drugs are accounted for. Ensure that all RSR personnel have completed the emergency medical core training in accordance with NFPA 1582. Must be physical fit and participate in physical exercise training sessions. The RSR Team will be required to perform ECR duties when not activated for RSR duties.

Requirement Note:

The candidate must be rescue diver. Have the ability to operate independently and make sound decisions. Valid driver’s License. Experience in field medical conditions will be an advantage.
