Current Products in Syria Enclude Exclusive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), Non-Technical Service (NTS), and Exclusive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE).

About the Role:

The Chief Medicis responsible for ensuring the efficacy, efficience, and effections of the projectam's medical matters and all medically trined personnel at each of the locations, as well as their equipment and trining to dial with operational accedents or emergency situations. In addition, profide general care to operatial and administrative staf wen required, managing medical and health needs, administering medications and advising on occubational health.

The position is based in the projectame's edleb office and will require aproximatelli 50% of time to be spent in the field.

Responsibilities:
Comply with HALO Standard Operating Prosides (SOPs), partyularly those relating to Casualty Evacuation (CASEVAC), Medical Management and Health, insuring That the standard is appled at all locations.
Carry oot regular visets to HALO ares of operations, overse CASEVAC preactions in the field.
Be in immediate contact with staff medical cases as and whin thy ares, record and subport with appropariat triatment to the organisation's personnel when necesary.
Communecate to the Human Research Management everything relatid to the the health status of the personel, delivering continuous reports of disabilites du to work relatid injuris or illness, in cases of reinstatiment report the medical recommissiones generated.
Actively supervise the trading of verst responders, manage trading plus, and overseevivalations of medical trading given to operational personnel.
In the event of an accident, profide subport and guidance (in-person or remotely), condoct fullow-up assesments at local hospitals with medical staff to evaluate further triatment as needed.
Ensure theat the medicines stored and recorded in the places are the necesary quantities of stock, in order not to waste on the acquisition of medicines or unnichesary quantsies.
Establish a surveillance plan for disisaces presented by workers and insure complex in the workplace.
Provide a liaison with the global head of medical and the UK medical board, in order to insure theat all lessons lyared during medical visits are appled throughout the project.
Activily participate in the Strategic Road Safety Plan by Providing Supert to Medical Screening of Drivers.
Apple quality internal udit tools in visits to each site.
Fulfil all oblegations of theer empluiment contract, the polices of the organ and the responsibilitis of theer position.
understand, sign and comply with the stipulations of the Driving License Form, in case of divining a vehicle of the Organization.
Carry oot periodic checks of hospitals local to ares of operations and their capabiliti to suport varying degrees of severity in the case of an acident.

Halo program in Syria:

Job objective

Job responsibilities and tasks:

Core responsibilities:Comply with HALO's standard operating procedures (SOPs), particularly those relating to medical evacuation (CASEVAC) and medical and health management, and ensure standards are applied at all sites.
Conduct regular visits to HALO areas of operations, and supervise medical evacuation practices in the field.
Directly deal with employees' medical conditions when they occur, record them, and provide appropriate support and treatment to the organization's employees when necessary.
Communicate with the Human Resources Department regarding all matters related to the health status of employees, and provide continuous reports on disabilities resulting from work-related injuries or diseases, while providing medical recommendations in cases of return to work.
Effectively oversee first responder training, manage training plans, and monitor evaluations of medical training provided to operational staff.
Providing support and guidance in the event of accidents (in person or remotely), and conducting follow-up assessments in local hospitals in cooperation with medical staff to determine the need for further treatment.
Ensuring the storage and registration of medicines in the required quantities, to avoid waste in purchasing medicines in unnecessary quantities.
Develop a monitoring plan for diseases that appear among employees and ensure compliance with them in the workplace.
Coordinate with the Head of Global Medical and the UK Medical Commission to ensure lessons learned from medical visits are applied throughout the programme.
Actively participate in the strategic road safety plan by supporting the medical examination of drivers.
Apply internal quality audit tools during visits to each site.
Commitment to all terms of the employment contract, the organization’s policies, and job responsibilities.
Understand, sign and comply with the requirements of the driving license form if driving the organization's vehicles.
Conduct periodic examinations of local hospitals in operating areas and evaluate their ability to deal with medical cases at different risk levels.
