At Eni, we are looking for a Health Coordinator within Eni Cote d'Ivoire in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire. You will be responsible for mitigating risks to health, safety, the environment and public security, which could impact on the Company's assets and reputation, employees and other parties.
As a member of the Health Service Department, you will be responsible for:
Medical support and assistance, management of medical emergencies, monitoring of general diseases;
Contributing to develop, update and implement the Health Management System of the company;
Contributing to elaborate and update health procedures, documents, standards and policies in compliance with Eni standards and legal requirements;
Coordination of medical and health related activities on operational sites (medical consultations, medical care, Medevac, hygiene inspections, food supply control, medical waste management, vaccinations, awareness sessions, first aid training, control of stock of medicines and medical equipment, medical emergency drills);
Contributing to develop and update the Medical Emergency Response Plan (MERP) of the company;
Contributing to medical emergency preparedness (Certified First Aid Training for employees, First Aid Boxes, medical emergency drills, equipped ambulances, emergency medical equipment, etc.);
Management and monitoring of the Fitness to Work of employees (including Seafarer medical certificates) / control and monitoring of contractor's Fitness to Work;
Contributing to Health Risk Assessment and Management;
Contributing to Travel Medicine Services: health induction, immunization and prophylaxis, country risk analysis, etc.;
Sickness Absence Management;
Contributing to define and implement Health Promotion initiatives and activities;
Control and monitoring of external medical providers' services;
Monitoring of health expenses and cost control through company dedicated system (SAP);
Contributing to the continuous improvement of health-related conditions, implementation of health preventive/corrective actions when required;
Contribution to the company's sustainability programs and Health/HSE strategic objectives.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
Medical Doctor Degree;
Relevant experience as Medical Doctor;
Good knowledge of computer use and IT tools;
Languages: French (mastery) and English (intermediate);
Good quality and breadth of technical knowledge;
Ability to apply knowledge to technical/operational contexts;
Health, safety & environment general awareness and knowledge of best practices;
Knowledge of the country's health legislation.
