An experienced and qualified Nurse is required by a 120m+ motor vessel which is currently cruising the Mediterranean and heading to the UAE for winter. The right candidate should hold a Nurse, Doctor, or Paramedic qualification, be board registered, and have all necessary STCW certificates, travel documents and medical licences up to date. Reporting to the Chief Officer, the ideal candidate must work well within a team and perform a role which supports all departments according to the highest standards and procedures. Candidates are to be able to demonstrate a good track record and have good references to match.
You are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19. This is a rotational position 10 weeks on/off.
Start date for this role is August 6th, 2024
Job Specification
Valid STCW '10 Certificates
Valid ENG1 Medical with no restrictions
Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
Crowd Management (not critical as can be performed online)
Crisis Management and Human Behaviour (not critical as can be performed online)
Similar role and rank experience
Excellent set of skills, knowledge and experience of emergency / remote location medicine and care.
Nurse, Doctor, Paramedic qualification required.
Must be able to perform minor surgical interventions
Must hold STCW Medical Care Certificate or STCW Medical First Aid certificate
Good health and good sobriety
Must speak fluent English
Must have good written references and contact details must be provided
Must be vaccinated for COVID-19
Candidate with Schengen Visas preferrred but all nationalities will be considered.
