Our client is searching for an experienced Nurse/Stewardess to join this Private 90m M/Y. This role will typically be 80% Stewardess, 20% Nursing.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Must be registered Nurse or Paramedic.
Must be registered Nurse or Paramedic.
Minimum 1 year post registration/qualification experience, ideally more.
Must be confident in working alone on medical issues.
Confident and experienced in making medical decisions and recommendations.
A&E/ER experience preferable.
Continued professional development to ensure skills are maintained.
Independently competent in 12 lead ECG interpretation.
Good working understanding of minor injury and illness management.
Ability to run a full cardiac arrest and to comfortably lead the arrest, the term would be ALS in the UK or a full code in the US. By this we mean, chest compressions, defibrillation, advanced airway ventilation, IV/IO access, cardiac drugs and managing a ROSC.
Confidence in potentially managing a critically unwell patient for a prolonged period of time at sea.
Must be confident in working alone on medical issues.
