Summary:
Seeking an EMT/Paramedic to support expeditionary camp construction activities. This position will be based out of different locations in Somalia. The duration of this position will be approximately 6 months. The duties and responsibilities herein are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
Responsibilities include:

Responding to emergency medical emergencies.
Providing on-site first aid.
Assess patients’ conditions and implement first-aid procedures.
Stabilize patients for onward transportation to medical facilities as required.
Maintaining equipment and filing reports.
Requirements – Desired Qualifications:

Current EMT/Paramedic National Certification mandatory.
Must have 10 years’ experience in related field.
Well-organized, punctual, reliable, and conscientious, and capable of managing resources and schedules to affect deadlines.
Language Skills: Professional English communication skills, both oral and written.
Prior experience working in austere conditions.
Must have experience working in Africa.
Must be physically fit and healthy to execute work in an extreme hot environment.
Must be capable to work with multiple different cultures.
Must be disciplined and follow company and site supervisor procedures, regulations, and ethics code of conduct.
