Job Overview
The Nurse is responsible for monitoring and evaluating clinic activities and requirements as DOLE prescribes. She/He will serve as the company’s representative for any medical, or health concerns and issues of the project. She/He is responsible to monitor the workers’ and employees’ welfare. This position is a Professional role. The role directly reports to HSE Manager and routinely interacts with all Departments in the 250382 Project.
Qualifications
Tasks and Responsibilities
This shall include, but is not limited to the following:
• Assist in the implementation of all existing and project-specific health programs. (Heat Stress Plan, Substance Abuse Program, Medical Surveillance Program, COVID-19 Prevention Program)
• Improve the health of employees through ongoing programs and health checks.
• Lead the company’s emergency response team to provide first aid treatment to sick or injured workers or employees.
• In case of emergency, he/she shall accompany an injured or sick employee to the hospital to make sure proper occupational treatment is being made per company standards and instruction of the HSE Manager.
• Keeping a copy of all medical records of employees.
• Generating all the required health and medical reports by the project for submittals including the reports to be submitted to DOLE on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Conducting random alcohol tests and Fit testing for all respirator users
• Member of the company’s HSE committee program
• Keeping records and monitoring all health and medical supplies for the clinic. Ensuring all emergency supplies/equipment including first aid kits are inspected and ready to use at all times.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the project clinic and ensuring it meets all the requirements of DOLE, CBI, and Client
• Assist the HSE manager in implementing all the required DOLE health programs.
Experience and Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Licensed Nurse
• Effective communication, management, and relevant computer skills.
• With BOSH Training for Nurses (OHNAP)
• Certified First Aider
