Hiring Organization: International SOS
Job Location: Iraq , Basra
One of International SOS' major clients based in Iraq has a requirement for a general primary health care nurse who also has extensive experience in Occupational Health.
The start date would be in March/April 2023.
Rotation will be 8 weeks on duty followed by 8 weeks off duty.
A daily rate in USDollars is offered and applies to on-duty days only.
Flights, accommodation, and meals, coupled with all the necessary remote site insurances are provided.
The location of the client site is the Basra region, and the successful candidate will reside within the client's main camp.
Criteria to apply:
Must be registered with the nursing council of origin or residence
Minimum of 3 years' working in a clinic or emergency setting conducting Primary Health Care
At least 1 year's proven experience in Occupational Health (ideally with a tertiary certification in this specialisation)
Remote site experience is beneficial but not essential
Hold a good command of the English language
Hold a valid passport
Hold a valid ACLS (must be AHA approved) - or be prepared to obtain at personal cost prior to deployment
Hold a valid ITLS or PHTLS - or be prepared to obtain at personal cost prior to deployment
