Summary:
Our client, a leading Medical Training company based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is currently seeking CMT’s, Paramedics or Pre-hospital based clinicians, ideally with previous instructor experience to join their team.
Key roles and responsibilities
As a medical instructor your key role will be to deliver training courses as part of the disaster and emergency management program to their clients. Delivering training through the mediums of theory-based teaching sessions in a tutorial style with a combination of interactive seminars, practical classes, and problem-based scenarios.
Specifically, as a member of the training team, the instructor would be expected to:
· Participate in the planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the training curriculum
· Prepare and deliver courses at various sites across the Emirates
· Supervise the activities of course participants during practical workshops and problem-solving scenarios.
· Evaluate learner performance, provide feedback, and develop learner remediation plans
· Perform hands-on training for both medical and non-medical personnel utilising training aides to simulate medical and traumatic scenarios
Required Skills/Qualifications:
·HCPC or similar Health Care Professional registrant with a Diploma and/or Batchelor Degree in emergency medicine or a subject relevant to the role
Desirable:
CMT
HEMS Paramedic
Critical Care Paramedic
Advanced Paramedic
HART
Maritime skills
Successful completion of an instructional course or teaching position preferred, but not essential.
At least 3 years of pre-hospital emergency medicine experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Strong knowledge and experience in pre-hospital emergency medicine
Knowledge of current clinical content and education standards
Knowledge of adult learning theory and methodologies
Demonstrated teaching and educational facilitation skills
Ability to adapt medical curricula to reflect local needs and national trends
·Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation
Excellent oral, written, and communication skills
