Job Role
UHC Global Medical are currently inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced registered doctors/medical professionals to work on an offshore Vietnam project. The successful candidate will be resident to and registered as a medical professional in Vietnam.
You will provide medical support to the principal healthcare professional onboard and in the event of a medevac escort any personnel to a medical facility in either Singapore or Australia. Duties will include support with primary and emergency healthcare to all vessel crew, First Aid training and promotion of lifestyle issues including fitness, alcohol awareness and healthy eating. You will also be responsible with supporting health and hygiene inspections, supporting the HSE advisor on board, clinic management, general administration and computer-based reporting.

Experience / Qualifications:
Vietnam Medical qualification with 2 years post graduate experience in a hospital or prehospital environment
Registration as a Doctor/medical professional with the Medical Board of Trinidad and Tobago
Experience in trauma, emergency medicine or emergency care management
Computer literate
Offshore survival certificate such as a BOSIET/FOET
Internationally recognised cardiac course to an advanced level
Internationally recognised trauma course to an advanced level
Seamans book – this is advantageous but not essential
