We are seeking experienced Offshore HSE Advisors / Medics for our current and upcoming Projects.

DOF Subsea owns a large fleet of modern subsea construction, intervention and survey vessels that enable it to offer differentiated positions with its clients and work in long term relationships, which enhance service delivery and reduce the overall risk.

The company's core business is project management, engineering, vessel operations, survey, remote intervention and diving operations, primarily for the Oil and Gas, Marine Telecommunications and Renewables markets.

Opportunities

We have casual Offshore HSE Advisor / Medic positions available.

As an experienced Offshore HSE Advisors / Medic, you will be a core member of the HSEQ Team and provide HSE leadership and support to personnel on DOF Subsea's vessels/sites during marine and project operations:

HSEQ:The primary role is to assist in the implementation of the companies HSE Systems through consultation and coordination with the offshore marine and project management teams.
This includes workforce coaching and training of company policies, procedures and processes as outlined in the company's business management systems.
Familiar with;Incident and observation reporting modules.
Permit to Work, Hazard Identification, Toolbox talks and Risk Assessment.
Incident investigation.
Incident consultation with Offshore Manager and shore-based management.
Manage the SDS database programme Chemalert.
Computer proficiency with data base systems and Microsoft Office
Interface with CSR Client personnel on board the vessel
Coordinate and conduct HSE training on board the vessel.
Manage the Drug and Alcohol policy for DOF Subsea onboard the vessel in accordance with all relevant procedures on the BMS
Maintenance and audit of Safety Equipment

Medic:

Ensure the Implementation of the company guidelines related to Medical Duties
Manage the ships hospital including:Maintain the ships hospital medical equipment and consumables
Maintain the ships hospital database ShipMed
Implement and maintain ships hospital medical information and recordsProvide medical support throughout the duration of operations.
Interface with Company Medical provider
Ability to produce medical reports and Injury Reports.
Report HSE statistical information, work related treatments and First Aid treatment.
Maintain Medical equipment

We have several casual positions available that would suit experienced HSEQ Advisor / Medics. These are offshore positions.

Requirements


We are looking for experienced HSEQ Advisors / Medics with offshore experience with the following qualities:
Preferable 5 years HSE experience, within the oil and gas.
Experience in Commercial Diving operations is beneficial.
Demonstrated experience providing medical treatment and emergency response within a remote location.
Demonstrated strong problem solving, lateral thinking and analytical skills.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Registered Nurse (APRHA Registered) Or Paramedic (APRHA Registered)
Preferable 5 years' experience in a clinical setting in emergency response, A&E or Paramedic.
Prefer certification in alcohol and other drug testing
Preference in in emergency response training such as;ALS
Burns Certificate
Trauma Course
MIMMS
Specimen Collection HLTPAT005
BOSIET (HUET)
Cert IV I or Diploma in Health and Safety
Cert IV in Training and Assessment will be an advantage
