At Eni, we are looking for a Advance Support Life Medic within Eni Ira B.V in Basra, Iraq. You will be responsible for providing nursing to sick people, both in infirmary and in patient's accommodation, when required; supporting the Company doctor, based in LSC infirmary, in all health management related activities, including medical assistance, equipment care, filing, reporting and other administrative activities - including cooperate in client blood test organization. The role requires both internal and external liaison Eni management, Eni medical representatives and external sources (e.g. local medical facilities) in the provision of Advanced Life Support. The ALS Clinic Medic reports directly to the EIBV Health Service Manager with regards to medical matters.
As a member of the HSEQ Team at Eni Iraq B.V you will be responsible for:
Medical emergency and non-emergency response in LSC infirmary (including "home calls")
Assisting LSC doctor in medical procedures
Clinical treatment of persons, both under doctor supervision or on his own responsibility when doctor is out (within the boundaries of ordinary paramedic knowledge and preparation)
Supervising on clinic cleanness and maintenance
Scheduling equipment maintenance & inspections
Medical induction and briefing conduction
Medical log database maintenance and updating
Pharmacy database maintenance, updating
Pharmacy stocktaking & stock control database maintenance, updating
Sterilization of instruments
Scheduling water testing
Basic radiography and iStat blood testing
Participating in blood test organization (mailing) for Visa purposes in conjunction with HR EIBV
Ambulance checking
Participating in medical drills
Participating in health promotion activities
Participating in clinic management procedure drafting
Following programs of continuous medical education
Keeping up-to-date professional certifications
Abidance by Eni Code of Ethics
