At Eni, we are looking for an Occupational Health Doctor within Eni Angola in Luanda, Angola. You will be responsible for providing the Company's occupational health services (operational network of health and consultation mobile units), improving employees' quality of work and life and ensuring, to most workers, accessibility to health care.

As a member of the Finance, Planning and Control Department at Eni Angola you will be responsible for :

Checking the compliance with the application of legislation on health and work at the Company;
Promoting the diagnosis of the relations between work and health/disease, assessing the overall impact on health (disability and death);
Checking the working conditions of employees in the formal and informal economy, analyzing determining factors, such as working hours, work policies on maternity leave, health promotion, safety measures etc;
Promoting the prevention of professional risks, ensuring compliance with the principles, policies, rules and thematic guidelines for health surveillance.
Developing projects and proposals of good health practices at work;
Ensuring legal qualifications and keeping the updated register of doctors and nurses at the Company;
Promoting the conduction of epidemiological surveys, in case of reported occupational disease, or other serious situations to health, taking the appropriate measures for their prevention;
Inspecting or assessing work environments, equipment or practices to ensure compliance with safety rules and governmental regulation;
Developing or maintaining hygiene programs, such as noise researches, continuous monitoring of the atmosphere, ventilation researches, or asbestos management plans;
Collecting samples of dust, gases, vapours, or other potentially toxic materials for analysis;
Investigating the adequacy of ventilation, exhaust equipment, lighting, or other conditions that may affect health, comfort or performance of employees;
Conducting training programs or education programs on safety and demonstrating the use of safety equipment;
Performing and promoting continuous improvement of the Health System, participating in internal and external audits he may be asked to attend;
Controlling the maintenance of professional Accreditations/Certifications which are required to perform the activity.
Coordinating the health services scheduling, with a timetable favorable to employees and doctors, ensuring the resources necessary for the provision of services;
Setting the monthly plan of health services scheduling;
Ordering the suspension of activities that pose threats to workers' health or safety;
Investigating accidents to identify the causes or to determine how such accidents may be avoided in the future;
Recommending measures to help protect workers from potentially dangerous working, processes or materials methods;
Investigating complaints related to health and inspecting the facilities to ensure that they comply with public health legislation and regulations;
Promoting continuous training of his team and carrying out the welcoming and integration of the new employees;
Validating the rating of absences due to illness, previously carried out by the Personnel Administration Department, every month;
Drafting a report to his superior, informing about the products and batches at stake, people who have been alerted and which specific instructions they were given;
Cooperating with doctors to establish control or corrective measures for dangerous or potentially dangerous conditions or equipment.

This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements :

Education at graduate level or higher in Medicine with specialization in Occupational Health and/or Hygiene and Public Health;
Previous work experience in the field
Good knowledge of Portuguese and English, both spoken and written;
Computer knowledge from user's point of view.
Knowledge of Occupational Medicine;
Knowledge of the country's regulatory legislation on health services;
Knowledge of the Company's regulatory health policies.
Knowledge of the main techniques, equipment and medicines applied to his area of application.
Knowledge of air samplers or collectors.

Contract type: FTC 24 Months
