PSD Team MedicEssential Requirements
At least 2 years of military service with at least one operational deployment to a conflict zone
Experience of operating as a PSD Team Medic with a recognized armed security provider for at least 2 years in Iraq, Libya or Afghanistan.
Valid Close Protection License from a recognized training provider
Qualified & experienced in firearms use - AK Rifle or analog
At least 1 year of light vehicle driving experience.
Proficient in the use of communication equipment including UHF Radio and satellite phone
Proficient in navigation and the use of GPS and Satellite tracking systems
Certified Medical Qualification BLS, FPOS, MIRA, or FREC issued by an internationally recognized instructional body
Practical experience of Basic Life Support, Emergency Medic Responder and Bleeding Control for Injured, First Person on Scene and Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support or equivalent set
Intermediate English.
Intermediate Russian is an advantage
experience of working in active ambulance care or in a medical emergency room is an advantage
Job Description
The purpose of PSD Team Medic is performing medical tasks, second in PSD command, close protection and bodyguarding, static protection on the ground. Services the Contractor can expect to carry out would include:
Perform medical tasks
Provide mobile armed protection to client personnel
Ensuring that health, safety, and environmental protection measures are managed in all aspects of service delivery.
The Team Medic will report to the Team Leader or to the Security Manager in case PSD TL is unable to perform his duties.
