As Health Coordinator, you will be responsible for the mission's medical strategy and the quality of current and future medical programs, in the definition, implementation and evaluation phases. You will provide support to health project managers in a functional relationship.
To this end, your responsibilities will be as follows:

As Health Coordinator, you will be responsible for the mission's medical strategy and the quality of current and future medical programs, in the definition, implementation and evaluation phases. You will provide support to health project managers in a functional relationship.
To this end, your responsibilities will be as follows:
Strategy : With the Head of the mission, and in close functional connection with the Headquarters Medical service, you will contribute to the development of new medical interventions on the mission. You will ensure an epidemiological watch on the country and analyze its strengths and weaknesses from a public health point of view.
Programs : You will ensure the adequacy of the medical program (s) with the PUI health policy and will control its quality and effectiveness.
Representation : You will represent the association with partners, authorities and local actors involved in the implementation of medical programs.
Human Resources / Training : You will supervise the medical coordination team (PUI employees), provide support to program managers in recruiting technical profiles and supervise technical training actions based on identified needs.
Logistics and administration : You will ensure compliance with the logistical and administrative procedures of the activities under your responsibility.
Security : You will contribute to the respect of the security rules on the mission and will transmit all information of a security order to the Chef.fe of the mission. You will ensure the organization of health care for the expatriates of the mission.
The challenges that await you:
Worksite in external coordination with the Common Health Framework on the common list of drugs
Participation in the work of resizing and redefining the SPS approach
Participation in the development of the health strategy in Mali (project development, quality monitoring implementation and capitalization)
Participation in the evaluation of the impact of the targeted free-care strategy.
What you will need to be successful
Training : You can justify a higher diploma in the medical or paramedical field. On the other hand, training in Public Health or even in project management would be appreciated.
Experience : You have at least three years of field experience in an international NGO, in the coordination of medical projects. Have you already worked as a Medical Coordinator or equivalent in an international NGO? It will be highly appreciated. Have you already worked with Première Urgence Internationale? It will be an undeniable asset!
Skills : You master humanitarian project management and team management, you have in-depth knowledge of the main donors. You have excellent writing skills.
Required qualities : You demonstrate good interpersonal skills, ease of communication, both written and oral, and you have a taste for teamwork. You are able to work independently with initiative, demonstrate a sense of responsibility, excellent analytical skills, rigor and organization, responsiveness and adaptability. You have excellent stress resistance and the ability to work under pressure.
Languages : French and English hold no secrets for you! So much the better, they are essential languages for this position. If you speak Arabic that would be a definite plus.

Status: Employee on a Fixed-Term Contract
Gross monthly salary : 2,200.00 - 2,530.00 EUR depending on your experience in international solidarity + 50 € per semester of seniority with PUI
Insurance including medical and complementary health cover, 24-hour assistance, repatriation and provident insurance
Accommodation in collective house
Living expenses ("Per Diem")
Break regime: 5 working days at 3 and 9 months of assignment + break bonus
Paid Leave Plan: 5 weeks of CP / year + return plane ticket to home every 6 months
