MISSION
Give assistance and advise t Support any vital emergency in all client offshore sites. Ensure the Group medical policy offshore and be the offshore interlocutor of client Medical Chief. Be the medical staff referent at sea. Ensure the medical administrative management of all client offshore sites. Attend and manage emergencies, screening consultation, care, treatments appropriate to the site personnel and medical sanitary evacuation (EVASAN), as necessary. Give assistance and advise the site RSES and IASE
. HSE Aspects - Participate in the implementation and promotion of the Affiliate HSE references in their field of competences and in collaboration with the SER and the RSES, in particular, the supervision of the DASRI treatment. - Ensure the medical HSE referent function for sea sites. - Supervise and audit the sites' hygiene. - Start, in collaboration with HSE, and participate in the sites exercises (trans-shipment, /FROG......etc...) Medical aspect - Responsible for the regulation and organization of sanitary evacuations. - Support any vital emergency in all sites. - Follow-up of such EVASAN, after the critical stage. - Coordinate the return to the site in liaison with the Occupational Health. - Consultation and supply of medical expertise with the sites' medical staff. - Contractually ensure their continuous training, at the same time, in the emergency service/REGULATIONS/INEM close to their residence. Medical-administrative aspect - They are the medical staff referent in the sites and the contact point with the onshore structure. - Coordinate and standardize the routine medical logistics: single medicine list for all sites in coordination with the Medical Chief, standardize the material and procedures. - Execute and implement procedures for the found pathologies responsibility. - Ensure, with the Medics support, the sites pharmaco-surveillance. - Execute medical audits to the sites' medical facilities, both temporary and permanent. - Supervise the establishment and training of sites teams. - Organize and implement, with the Medics support, the emergency training. - Coordinate with client Medical Chief, the continuous Medics training. - Participate, with the Occupational Health, in the preparation of specific medical procedures in the sites (such as, confined space work, transportation of a contagious patient, etc.) - With the Occupational Health and the Medics: check the implementation of hygiene and asepsis protocols and procedures. - Coordinate with Medics and Occupational Health the follow-up of Fitness Certificates and the personnel on board reduced medical files.
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT Their function is to take charge of any vital emergency in the sites in an isolated environment. They shall be able, depending on the site, to work in a dangerous environment. Have under their responsibility all offshore sites. Medical referent for a population of around 3,000 to 3,500 people. WORK SCHEDULE 26/43 Rotational offshore (12 hours per day)
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE Holder of a Medicine diploma. Specialized in Emergency Medicine type SAMU/INEMA (experience = 15 years) or another equivalent diploma in Emergency Medicine. Specialized or trained in Disaster Medicine. Experience in the local and international context Experience offshore Solid experience in an Emergency service (or Intensive care) and pre-hospital emergency medicine additionally to experience acquired during the student time. Experience in medical regulation. Experience with medical evacuation. Experience managing teams, resources and logistics. Update of the continuous emergency training: ACLS, ATLS or equivalent. Valid BOSIET, HUET (or equivalent). Able to work in an isolated environment. Proactive, multivalent, and dynamic spirit. Good computer tools skills: Outlook, Word, and Excel. Preferred languages: English, French (Portuguese).
