We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Medical to join the Head Office team. This senior role would ideally suit an experienced Cruise Doctor who is looking to increase their managerial scope in a shore-based capacity.
The Role
As Head of Medical you will report directly into the Senior Director of Medical Services and will enjoy a varied role. You will be office based, but will enjoy regular visits to the vessels.
Responsibilities will include working in close collaboration with the Public Health department, supporting the onboard Medical teams, evaluating all medical staff, reviewing and developing Medical procedures for the fleet.
The ideal candidate will have:
-Medical Degree
-8 years+ professional experience
-Experienced working in maritime medicine, family medicine and emergency medicine
-Maritime experience as a Doctor is a distinct advantage
-Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills
-Fluent English language skills and Italian language skills are essential
-The existing right to live and work in the EU is required for this position
