Role Overview:
Global Rescue will be providing mandated travel risk, crisis management, response and evacuation services to travelers in various Caribbean locations. These services include field rescue, medical support and logistics, evacuations and repatriations and risk mitigation, processing and remediation of CV-19 positive travelers. Global Rescue will be establishing operations centers in the region to support active and ongoing cases. The operations centers will be operated by nurses, doctors and certain security, law enforcement and intelligence specialists to provide required crisis management, response, medical and security services.
The person selected for this role will manage and maintain deployment capabilities in our operations center. You should be a team player, mission oriented and an excellent multi-tasker, have great time management skills and enjoy helping find the right solutions for our members. You need to be technologically adept, able to learn and integrate new information quickly, and flexible and creative in thought process and problem solving.
Responsibilities:
Primary function is to plan, execute, and lead medical advisory, logistics, evacuation and repatriation operations. Subsets of that duty include asset development, protocol development, and maintaining a trained and ready team
Rapidly triage and respond to member health events and provide guidance and mentorship to nurses and emergency medical technicians on duty regarding member care
Liaise with Physician team to respond to member health events
Integrate security and intelligence experts into operations in support of all member requests
Perform all necessary functions to effectively manage operations throughout the employee life cycle hiring, mentoring, providing guidance, performance management, motivating
Integrate into Global Rescues other global operations centers, represent Global Rescue at the highest levels of host nation government and throughout the region
Manage relationships with local hospitals, clinics, medical transportation vendors and other partners
Develop and execute complex tactical plans; prepare for mass incident/response operations
Build and implement budgets, expense reports and department financial management
Follow, build, and improve protocols and quality standards for business operations
Develop, implement, and manage training programs to maintain operational readiness
Manage the research and maintenance of operations and client databases
Travel domestically and internationally supporting current operations and business development.
Qualifications:
5+ years leading and managing sizable teams of medical personnel in a clinic, hospital, or EMS agency required
3+ years of ICU or ER Nurse or Paramedic experience required
Previous experience coordinating and executing medical evacuations required
Strong analytical and project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into operational requirements
Experience working and operating in foreign countries
Exceptional written and verbal communication
