Qualifications And Experience:
Degree in Nursing, Medicine, or Public Health from an accredited University. Master's in Public Health will be an added advantage. Registration with the relevant health bodies is crucial.
Minimum of five years of relevant experience in both emergency and developmental health program set up.
Willing to travel and live in difficult and remote areas.
A mature person of high professional discipline and moral integrity,
Fluency in English and Somali languages.
Previous experience within a humanitarian organization, in particular working in primary health care programs, CEMONC programs, MISP and strong community health skills.
Competent to work under stress as the situation may dictate.
Ability to work with displaced communities with diverse cultural and ethnic background.
Desirable
Experience in Jubbaland state will be an asset.
In-depth clinical experience especially around clinical supervision/ mentoring, RH, public and or community health.
Experience in managing emergency health interventions with international NGOs/UN.
Knowledge and experience in Child Right Programming approach
Knowledge of the Somalia health system
Computer skills e.g. Word, Power Point and Excel.
Experience in clinical facilitation of trainings like IMCI, EMONC, MISP, will be an advantage.
