Position Overview:
The Site Nurse provides primary and emergency healthcare services to the client's oniste local and expatriate workforce and oversees all aspects of clinical medical management within the clinic, including medical evacuation support. In addition is respobsible to position International SOS as the principal healthcare provider in the international community.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake clinical consultations and provide a high standard of service and care to the patients attending the clinic
Develop and ensure continuity of patient care and appropriate follow-up and referral
Assist with the implementation of preventative medical care strategies, including structuring and performing medical screening services
Work with the clinic's Chief Medical Officer or Medical Director to optimise quality assurance and ensure that appropriate medical outcomes are consistently attained with respect to the provision of clinic services.
Ensure patient's medical files and documentation is maintained to the highest standards and in accordance with International SOS standards for clinic services
Ensure International SOS and the client is represented in a professional manner.
Ensure Continuous Quality improvement culture and system is maintained throughout the clinic
Assist in the promotion of International SOS' Medical Services with the client
Educate medical and non-medical staff in medical matters where relevant.
Requirements:
Current Nurse registration in the country of Origin
Registered Nurse with at least 5 years clinical experience within primary care and emergency medicine
Familiar with internationally accepted immunization programs across childrem adults and travel medicine
Current ACLS certificate or accepted equivalent
Able to communicate fluently in English both oral and written
Residents/citizens of Latin America/Caribbean countries will be given priority.
