The ALS Paramedic is responsible to respond to emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured, and transport the patient to the medical facility. The Paramedic will also be required to undertake patient assessments, burn management, CPR and extrication of patients from dangerous situations. The paramedic will additionally transport patients in the event of STRATAIRMEDEVAC and to other facilities where required.
Qualifications
• An Advanced Life Support (ALS) paramedic degree or diploma from an accredited educational institution, recognizing that a lower qualification cannot practice as an independent practitioner.
• A minimum of 3 years’ continuous progressively practical experience.
• Experience of operating in conflict or crisis affected regions of the world.
• Currently registered NREMT-P or State licensed EMT-P.
• Certification in PHTLS or equivalent and ACLS.

Rotation: 8 weeks onsite/ 8 weeks offsite
