Foreign National Physician - Kosovo - (KOS_FN_MD_7.20)
Caliburn is currently seeking a Physician to support the NATO KFOR Mission at Camp Novo Selo located in Kosovo.
Duties:
The primary responsibilities of the Physician include the following:
Perform physical exams.
Perform health screening and routine medical care.
Treat patients to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis.
Provide preventative, primary and emergency care.
Triage, stabilize and evacuate patients to a higher level of care when necessary.
Coordinate with receiving hospital in the event of a medical evacuation.
Document patient visits and treatment plans in accordance with established guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Physicians shall hold a recognized medical degree obtained from a European Economic Area (EEA) or North American Nation.
Physicians shall hold a recognized valid practice license by an appropriate medical chamber/board of an EEA or North American country.
Acceptable qualifications are Primary or Family Medicine and Emergency Care with formal recognition by the specialist board of the discipline.
Physicians must demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the primary or emergency care practice, formally recognized by a board of discipline.
Strong organizational, analytical and written/verbal communication skills
Must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
Strong problem-solving skills to research and resolve inquiries and respond in a timely manner
Ability to work well with senior management and across functions to achieve business objectives
Self-starter who is action oriented and possesses a strong sense of urgency
Proficient in Microsoft applications, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a valid, current. Driver’s License.
Must have a current Passport.
Must sign a Caliburn Foreign Service Agreement (FSA) and is bound to the terms and conditions of the FSA.
Must be a citizen of a NATO Nation and be currently registered to practice within a NATO country.
Shall demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic word processing programs and the CHS Medical Management System software.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be confirmed by a medical examination to be “medically and dentally fit” in accordance CHS Medical Readiness Guidelines and Policies and/or as dictated by the Client.
No conditions that would prevent the wear of personal protective equipment; including protective mask, ballistic helmet, body armor and chemical/biological protective garments or conditions that would prevent the capability of donning, lifting or carrying of up to 70 lbs. of referenced gear while running to a bunker or protected area in the face of perceived or imminent danger.
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
