Key Responsibilities
Ensures that the required diving and survival equipment is in good and safe operating condition.
If a decompression problem occurs he will become a tender and assistant in the decompression chamber to the patient and also liaise with a certified diving doctor.
He is also in charge of the diving medicine and equipment on board the vessel but only for the dive team
Experience Required
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in offshore oil field construction/inspection.
The ability to work in dark waters.
Working knowledge of operating diving equipment.
Knowledgeable of IMCA international Codes of Practice and work standards.
Stamped and signed dive log book.
Experience in J-Tube installation, Riser clamp installation, Risers installation , sleepers installation, Pipe laying activities, Stinger check, Jacket installation, on board construction barges OR DP vessels.
should be IMCA or ADCI certified
Project location – Sharjah
