Job Description
Organizes and creates the setup conducive to an urgent anaesthesia.
Intervenes appropriately to assist the anaesthetist in urgent or emergency situations.
Provides information and advice on all anaesthetic procedures which patients may require as part of the urgent procedure.
Ensures together with the anaesthetist that all anaesthetic inventory lists and controlled drug registers are updated and maintained at all times in line with the daily clinic usage
Qualifications
Anestheretic Nursing post-graduate training, and at least 3 years of experience
Certification in ACLS or PHTLS
Ability to write and speak English
Training from a medical school accredited by the Educational Commission for
Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), and is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools
Fluent English speaker
Experience in similar environments
Additional Information
Rotation: 6 weeks on 6 weeks off
